The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research

Creating, developing, and delivering practical continuing education programs for everyone involved in the insurance and risk management industries is the challenge and purpose of The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research.  In addition to CIC, CISR and Dynamics classes offered by Insurors, The National Alliance also offers the CRM designation.

CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter) Program

Introductory Courses, Programs in General Insurance, courses leading to the AAI and ARM designations, and the CPCU training program are available through the American Institute for CPCU and Insurance Institutes of America.

AAI (Accredited Advisor in Insurance) Program

The AAI designation program gives you a competitive edge in the increasingly competitive insurance business. You will be able to increase your commissions, improve your insurance knowledge, learn how to avoid E&O claims, and earn continuing education (CE) credits for your license renewal all at the same time. AAI is more cost-effective and more flexible than other comparable programs. Further, no continuing education credits are required to maintain your designation. AAI is the result of a joint effort of the Insurance Institute of America (IIA) and the Independent Insurance Agents of America (IIABA).

ARM (Associate in Risk Management) Program

By earning the ARM or the ARM-P designation, you will greatly enhance your understanding of the risk management process, from analysis to implementation and monitoring. Both programs provide fundamental concepts. The information you learn is practical, and you will be able to apply it immediately to your daily risk management responsibilities. You will learn about risk retention and transfer and about some of the latest in advanced risk financing techniques

E&O Risk Management Classes

Created by IIABA and Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, "E&O Risk Management: Meeting the Challenge of Change" is the seminar that looks at agency E&O risk management from the agency perspective and addresses the fundamentals of reducing E&O exposure in today's ever-changing agency operations.

Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC)

A prestigious designation and the most practical continuing education, the Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC) Program has been the insurance industry's premier, proven source for practical, real-world education since 1969.

Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)

An inspiring professional faculty, nine ONE-DAY courses to choose from, a curriculum that's tailored to your region--all these benefits make the CISR Program a truly superior education opportunity.

Certified Risk Manager (CRM)

The Certified Risk Managers International (CRM) designation demonstrates that you are knowledgeable in all areas of managing risks, hazards, and exposures. The five courses give you in-depth knowledge about today's highest priorities - identifying, analyzing, controlling, financing, and administering operational risks, and more.

Certified Personal Risk Manager (CPRM)

CPRM is the newest designation program of The National Alliance with a purpose of training the insurance and risk management communities to better serve the high net worth and affluent client. The program contains a unique combination of risk management, technical expertise, and account development.
