Preferred Comp of Tennessee, a division of Meadowbrook Insurance Group, is pleased to announce a new partnership with Builders Insurance Group effective on June 1, 2011. This new partnership gives Insurors members access to an even broader market for their workers’ compensation needs.

Builders Insurance is a regional company based in Atlanta, GA and is comprised of Association Insurance Company (AIC) and Vinings Insurance Company (VIC), and has extensive experience writing WC for the construction industry. Builders will supplement Meadowbrook’s main street WC underwriting appetite by providing Insurors member agents with a broad range of classes including construction related risks and a specialty, commercial only, roofers program.
Preferred Comp has had a long partnership with Insurors since the program’s inception in 1996. As an Insurors member, you have access to the Meadowbrook and Builders stable of insurance companies through Preferred Comp with no direct appointment or volume commitment.

1. Complete a WC Acord 130. Make sure that it is signed.
2. Include a FEIN number, officer/partner information/ number of employees by class, and most current experience modification worksheet with currently valued loss runs along with explanatory remarks for any yes answers in the general information section.
