| The CISR Designation
If you hold a CISR designation and are not a dues paying member of The Society of CISR, you can do your annual update by:
-
Attending one of the five basic CISR classes (ie: Insuring Commercial Property). You do not have to sit for the examination again; or
-
Attending a CISR Advanced Lecture Series class; or
-
Taking one of the five basic CISR classes on-line. You must pass the examination to receive credit for your update using this method; or
-
Attending the entire 2 ½ days of a CIC institute (This will satisfy your CISR update for two years); or
-
Attending the entire 2 ½ days of a CRM course (This will satisfy your CISR update for two years).
If you hold a CISR designation and you are a dues paying member of The Society of CISR, you can do your annual update by:

Attending a CISR Advanced Lecture Series class; or
-
Attending a Dynamics of Service program; or
-
Attending the entire 2 ½ days of a Dynamics of Selling program (This will satisfy your CISR update for two years); or
-
Attending the entire 2 ½ days of a Dynamics of Sales Management program (This will satisfy your CISR update for two years); or
-
Attending 8 hours of any CIC Institute.
The CIC Designation
If you hold a CIC designation and are not a dues paying member of The Society of CIC, you can do your annual update by:

-
Attend the entire 2 ½ days of a CIC Institute (You do not have to sit for the examination); or
-
Attend the entire 2 ½ days of a Ruble Seminar, or
-
Attend the entire 2 ½ days of a CRM Course; or
-
Attend the entire 2 ½ days of a Dynamics of Selling program; or
-
Attend the entire 2 ½ days of a Dynamics of Sales Management program
CIC and CISR
If you hold both a CISR and CIC designation and attend a CIC institute, your CIC update will also satisfy your CISR update for two (2) years.
