The Rate Filing and Research Service is directed by David Williams. Mr. Williams has over 30 years experience working inside the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance. He has the experience and knowledge to provide expert information gathering services or liason services to make your project a success.

Information Gathering

David can quickly  gather competitor rating territories, competitor rate filings, loss cost multipliers, rating rules, discounts and credits, rating deviations, experience rating plans, retroactive rating plans, and competitors manuals. 

Liaison Services

While we do not lobby the Insurance Department on behalf of any single company filing, David can assist you with that filing via our local presence and regular communication with the department. We can quickly respond to questions an actuarial officer may have and offer rationale or business reasons for any element of the filing.  The sum of these services provides a greater probability that your filing will be fully understood and processed in a timely manner.
